Upcoming classes now scheduled:


As of August 12th, 2013:

Director of Education Chad Franke will be teaching the ATX Hackerspace Replicator (3D Printer) class.


All classes will start at 8pm and are expected to run for approximately 2 hours. The cost for this course is $30 for members and $36 for non-members, paid to the Hackerspace via the ATX store replicator class


Important information if you want to take the class: The max number of students for each class is 6 and instructor will be filling specific seats based on student availability. If you know which class you would like to attend email (or reply to either groups - discuss or members ) instructor with the class time and she will let you know if there is an opening. You will then need to purchase the class on the store and bring your receipt to class. Do not just assume there is an opening. Confirm beforehand.

The course will offer insights into 3D printing, how to safely operate the Replicator, as well as the tools needed for generating files that are used to operate the Replicator

$36 per student (Non-member)

$30 per student (Members and Patrons)

One day, two hour course

For those students wanting to tinker with the ReplicatorG software at home, please check out:


Becoming familiar with ReplicatorG software is very useful during the lecture to follow along.

CAUTION Do not 3D print files made at home at the space. CAUTION

You still need to use the dedicated computers at the space to generate *.x3g file for the Replicator 3D Printer.

Evelyn Nelson will be teaching classes Monday 6/17, Wednesday 6/19 (CANCELLED - low enrollment), and Friday 6/21 (CANCELLED - low enrollment). All classes will start at 8pm and are expected to run for approximately 2 hours. The cost for this course is $30 for members and $36 for non-members, paid to the Hackerspace via the ATX store replicator class

Special Saturday Class June 22nd, 2013 from 3 to 5 pm. Check calendar for available slot, email Evelyn to lock in slot before making purchase at the ATX Hackerspace store.
